About me
Upon graduating from Mater Dei high school with honors and receiving a collegiate scholarship for academics and volleyball, I found my calling. I graduated from St. Mary’s College and earned my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University.
From there, I furthered my education and received an additional Masters in Education, as well as, also earning a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University. I launched my career serving the Orange County Medi-Cal population for 13 years, as well as maintaining a private practice in Newport Beach, California. I have taught at the Doctorate and Master’s level in Clinical Psychology as well as Marital and Therapy programs and I have served as the Regional Program Director, overseeing 3 clinics at Western Youth Services in Orange County, California.
For the past 20 years, I have worked with children, adolescents and adults in private practice, outpatient, educational and crisis settings. In July 2008, I began my employment with the San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health where I held the Clinical Supervisor position with Community Crisis Services and initiated and implemented the Crisis Walk In Clinic in Rialto prior to serving as a Program Manager for the Quality Management division and AB 109 mental health program.
Over the last ten years I served in the public-school setting. I held the position of Coordinator of Behavioral Mental Health Services overseeing behavioral and mental health services provided in several districts. Being a part of mental health services within education, particularly special education, gave me a passion for special education advocacy to ensure all children reach their full potential!
In late 2023, I founded Mental Wealth Ambition with the goal of supporting others along the pursuit of their true potential and positive wellbeing!
